The Time is traditionally the entry point to discovering Prince’s extended discography. This is the complete listing of the side projects Prince created: The Time, Vanity 6 and Sheila E, initially signed to Warner Bros. direct, and from 1985 under Paisley Park Records with acts such as Jill Jones, The Family and Madhouse. Habitually preferring younger artists who he could mould into his style, in his later career Prince recorded with other artists under his own label NPG Records and had significant involvement in albums created for Larry Graham, Chaka Khan, Andy Allo and Judith Hill.
