Who is Goldie?

Goldie's Parade – the song – is the 8th track on the NPG’s GoldNigga album. This site was named in honour of that little known album and to draw credit to its greatness. The most well known songs from GoldNigga are 2gether, which was on the b-side to Diamonds And Pearls’ Money Don’t Matter 2 Night, and, of course, the fantastic - Johnny.

Goldies Parade – the website – was established in 1998 by Goldies Parade – the person, a champion for Uptown magazine's counter-suit against Prince in 1999 over the use of the . At this juncture it is probably worth pointing out that you probably and correctly have guessed that Goldies Parade is no person, but the enigmatic an alter-ego and self-proclaimed Chairman of the NPG Militant Committee (NPGMC), a splinter organisation of the infamous faMs bent to oppose their cryptograms and brainwashed mutterings. Goldie has stood for the right of Prince faNs to express themselves as individuals, his 'Old Friends 4 Sale' campaign fought hard against Prince's syndication aka 'the collective' with which to merge and control fan sites in 2000 to both monitor and control online opinion. Goldie also crusades for the preservation of "music" through opposing those annoying ’prefabs’ who cannot neither sing nor play an instrument yet still call themselves a "band".
